I've worked in hospitality since I was 16, more than fifteen years of it as a barista, mostly making coffee for the guests of our own business, every day – and I love it! My love of coffee blossomed in Ireland and came to full bloom at Apricot Coffee!

My profession and great love is floristry, but coffee and working with people have always been part of my life. Here I can taste fantastic coffees and recommend them to others. Plus, the flowers are grateful for the regular care. I'm currently on maternity leave 🙂

My husband and I started the business together, and although I'm rarely behind the counter, I know most of our regulars by name ❤️ And I'm always trying to brighten up the café with something new!

I'm Réka, one of the familiar faces behind the counter. I first came here as a guest for coffee, then on a friend's suggestion I sent in my CV, and I've been part of the Apricot team ever since. You'll most often find me behind the counter serving our guests. I learned to make coffee here, as part of the team, and I'm still learning something new all the time. I especially love that every day we can put a smile on our guests' faces with carefully made drinks. I love it when a good coffee comes with a kind word and a smile – for me, that's what makes a café experience truly good, whichever side of the counter I'm on.
