Home Barista Training

Would you like to become a real home barista and make delicious coffee at home? Would you like a peek into the world of coffee tasting – and find out how coffee farmers, roasters and baristas taste coffee?

If this sounds interesting, our Home Barista Training is just right for you. You'll learn the theory of coffee from the farm to the cup – but don't worry, it won't be a boring lecture you sleep through; it's genuinely interesting. If you have questions, write them down beforehand and send them to us, and we'll go through them during the training too.

What is cupping?

Coffee cupping is the art of tasting and grading coffee and identifying its flavour notes. During the Apricot Coffee cupping we taste 6 different coffees together. We recommend this Home Barista Training to anyone who wants to learn more about coffee and get closer to making delicious coffee at home.

What's included

• A 45-minute interactive talk on coffee's journey from the farm all the way to the cup. Feel free to ask questions and chat – we want a relaxed, friendly atmosphere and to answer all your questions.
• Then we'll taste 6 different single-origin and blend 100% Arabica coffees, learning how to taste and smell coffee.
• Finally, you'll get a look at the secrets of brewing filter coffee – the perfect choice for making coffee at home too (V60 and AeroPress).
• Our coffee beans can be bought at a 10% discount during the training.
• Duration: 3 hours
• Group size: 4–8 people

Terms of use and cancellation

Booked places can be cancelled or changed free of charge up to 5 days before the training. Unfortunately we can't accept cancellations or changes within 5 days, but your place can be transferred to a friend.

Your booking is confirmed once the fee has been paid, in person at the café by cash or card, or by bank transfer.
